Since the beginning of this year, Huadian Yizheng has closely aligned itself with the themes of “new-quality productivity” and “green and low-carbon transformation,” focusing on the strategic direction of building a new energy system. Taking regional energy security as its primary responsibility and prioritizing enterprise needs, it has fully leveraged the Group’s comprehensive advantages across the entire “hydrogen storage, carbon capture, and intelligent integration” value chain to accelerate the development and deployment of strategic emerging industries such as hydrogen energy and energy storage, thereby laying a solid foundation for establishing a comprehensive energy base in Yizheng that embodies Huadian’s distinctive characteristics.
The Jiangsu Huadian Yizheng 120 MW/240 MWh wind-solar integrated energy storage project has commenced construction.
The 120 MW/240 MWh wind-solar integrated energy storage project in Yizheng, Jiangsu Huadian, is a key project in Jiangsu Province’s energy transition. It will also become the largest grid-side energy storage power station in the Yangzhou region. The project adopts advanced integrated wind-solar-storage technology, which will effectively enhance energy utilization efficiency, optimize the energy structure, and help Yizheng achieve its goals of peaking carbon emissions and achieving carbon neutrality. Recently, Shanghai Lan Jian was honored to manufacture and supply a batch of high-voltage switchgear—including KYN28A-12 and KYN61-40.5—for this project. Delivery has now been completed, and these switchgear units will provide stable and reliable power support for the energy storage project.
