CNOOC
China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) is a super-large state-owned enterprise (a central enterprise) directly under the supervision and administration of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council of China. It is also China’s largest offshore oil and gas producer. Established in 1982, CNOOC has a registered capital of 94.9 billion RMB and its headquarters are located in Beijing. The company currently employs 98,750 people and has four upstream subsidiaries located in Tianjin, Zhanjiang, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. In the 2013 Fortune Global 500 list released by U.S. magazine Fortune, China National Offshore Oil Corporation ranked 93rd.
