West-to-East Gas Pipeline – “Jian Chapter”: Blue Arrow Supports the Jian Liaison Station of the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Branch in Adding a Compressor Unit Project
In February 2024, Shanghai LANKONG Electrical Control Equipment Complete Sets Co., Ltd. received an order for electrical equipment from the Ji'an Connection Station of the West-to-East Gas Pipeline Branch Company, jointly operated by the National Pipeline Network Group and United Pipeline Co., Ltd., for a project to add compressor units.
Since 2022, as large-scale centralized heating has been launched across the country, many regions have entered “heating season.” The West-to-East Gas Pipeline Company is making every effort to ensure warmth throughout the pipeline’s route this winter.
The project to add compressor units at the Ji'an Connection Station involves renovation and expansion of the existing station. New compressor units and auxiliary facilities have been added, transforming the station into a compression station and rebranding it as the Ji'an Connection Compression Station. Lanjian has supplied a batch of complete sets of distribution equipment, including low-voltage switchgear, for this project. As a pivotal hub in the national superproject—the West-to-East Gas Pipeline—connecting the West Third East and West Second pipelines, the Ji'an Connection Station serves as both the first station of the West Third East pipeline and a critical node for the southward flow of natural gas from the West Second pipeline during winter, ensuring a stable supply to northern regions. The newly added compressor units at the Ji'an Connection Station will enhance the gas transmission capacity of the West Third East pipeline and further strengthen the station’s role in gas storage, peak-shaving, and emergency supply for the pipeline system.
